My first trip to the galapagos was a spiritual adventure as much as a marine vacation. This painting was created before I arrived in the Galapagos.
The odd or mystery of the painting is Margo shot a sunset photo during the week that looks exactly like this painting. I remember her saying," Oh My God Tom, you painted the painting before you saw the image. And here is the image."
The Galapagos is like that. Amazingly, mystical and yet brutal in it's power. To this day, it is one of the most amazing experience I have ever had.
