WE HAVE A LAYOVER IN NADI. WHAT HOTELS ARE AVAILABLE?
If your layover is a few hours you may wish to stay at one of the hotels close to Nadi Airport such as the Raffles Gateway Hotel or Novotel Airport Hotel. If your layover is longer or over-night the Sofitel and Hilton are located in Denarau, about 20 minutes by taxi from Nadi Airport.
WHAT ARE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES?
Check-in time is after 2:00 pm and Check-out time is by 11:00 am. The resort will do everything possible to accommodate you if you arrive before 2:00 pm. If a bure is not available for early check-in, your luggage can be stored in the meantime until your bure is available. You will be able to enjoy breakfast or lunch while you wait, at no extra charge.
You can expect warm temperatures between 24-30 °C (75-85 °F) with some humidity during the day and 21-26° C (70-80 °F) at night. The resort is located on a point and receives cool ocean breezes most of the year. In your bure, you will find wall-to-wall louvered windows that allow you to take advantage of these balmy breezes. Fiji is located in the tropics, so there is the possibility of occasional short rain showers. Because Fiji is close to the equator there is little variation in the seasons, although the “summer” months of December through March are known to have slightly more rain and humidity.
Guests find casual resort attire the most appropriate. If you take the excursion to the local native village, it is customary for men and women to cover their shoulders and also the legs to below the knee, and to remove hats.
