Sam Tours and Palau Royal Resort Family Dive Packages

Rated #1 family dive travel by National Geographic Traveler Rainer Jens for Intelligent Travel. We think Palau is a wonderful family vacation for the entire family even non-divers.

Palau, a small island nation in the Pacific, has repeatedly been rated as one of the world’s top diving destinations. The prime reason for that is its pristine marine ecosystems, ranging from stunning coral reefs to seagrass beds, mangroves, inner lagoons, and marine lakes. The island’s waters are perfect for families and divers from beginner to advanced skill levels.

The water is warm, clear, and easy to dive. Some of the best diving is right of Sam’s Dock. We provide diving, PADI courses, tours, and create custom dive vacations to suit your family’s needs. Sam’s Tours is the 5-star PADI dive operation we work with in conjunction with Palau Royal Resort. 1, or 2 bedroom suites are available and perfect for families.  Sam’s Tours picks up guests at Palau Royal resort and dive days include lunch.

The ocean here is home to over 1,300 species of reef fish including 130 species of rare sharks and stingrays, 700 species of coral, and an abundance of other marine invertebrates and large pelagic mammals.

Palau Becomes First Country to Require ‘Eco-Pledge’ Upon Arrival

The Palauan government along with Sam’s Tours is taking action to conserve the nation’s valuable resources by banning destructive fishing techniques and shark finning and by creating the Protected Areas Network, as well as the world’s first shark sanctuary.  All divers will be required to complete the Palau Pledge before entry into the country.

A study conducted by Australian scientists showed that emphasizing the economic value of sharks as a non-harvested resource may be a more successful approach in trying to protect these threatened creatures and be an effective way to help the country’s economy to thrive.

2020 Kids Sea Camp week: July 18th to 28th (10-nights): Bring the whole family to one of the best family vacations in the world.

The main reason to come to Palau is to see these incredible creatures plentiful and alive! See why at our gallery
