Rumors start about Kids Sea Camp Turkey Bowl football game in St. Vincent

(St Vincent 2013) What started as a dream is building into a new Kids Sea Camp tradition. Rumors of secret talks among families has started early about the 2nd annual KSC Turkey Bowl.

Our office has been receiving emails almost daily about the upcoming game. Who will be on the teams? Who can stop the brilliant football mind of Kids Sea Camp Vice-President, Tom Peyton? Will they use a “real” American football this year? Will it be televised as discussed last year? And will Legendary Texas coach, Will Travis come out of retirement to face his heated (It’s really hot on island) rival Peyton again this year? Oh, how the drama builds!

A brief recap of last year’s bowl. The Happy Campers led by Will Travis were dismantled by the KSC Cowboys 31-14.   Legendary coach Will Travis reportedly said, “The Cowboys had a really good draft. We had no answer for the Comays.”

Player-coach, Tom Peyton had a banner day driving and guiding the KSC Cowboy down the soccer field seemingly at will against the undermanned Campers. Coach Peyton later admitted, ” They had no answer for the Comays.”

The excitement is building here at Family Dive Adventures office as we are lining up one of the busiest Thanksgivings weeks in years. Almost 60 Kids Sea Campers will be on Island the week at Buccament Bay resort. We are expecting a tighter game than last year, mainly, because yes,   there will be a real American football used this year.

Last year in order to have the famous KSC Turkey Bowl, Coach Peyton made the call to use a semi-deflated rugby ball. “We didn’t know we would have such a demand for the game. Frankly, we didn’t even know we were going to have the game. So we adjusted to the conditions on Island and had a lot of fun. But this year will be different, a real football and possibly a real basketball.”

So there you have it, Kids Sea Camp Turkey Bowl 2013, Buccament Bay resort on St. Vincent Island over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Dad and Mom start tossing the pigskin around today with the kids. The colleges and the NFL camps have already opened. . . has yours?
